Custom orders generally take 8–12 weeks, depending on supplier availability, international shipping, customs inspections and the time needed to complete your piece but can take longer. I'll keep you updated throughout the process.

QUOTES & INTERNATIONAL SUPPLIER SHIPPINGSpecimen prices, availability, currency conversions and shipping costs can change significantly. Quotes aren't guaranteed indefinitely, so if you decide to order weeks or months later, an updated quote may be needed.

For example, lesser death's-head hawkmoths that previously cost around $50 each are now almost $100 each before shipping!

International supplier shipping can cost $25–$40 per order. If your order requires a separate or last-minute stock order outside my planned ordering schedule, supplier shipping may be added to your quote.

If I'm ordering specimens from the same supplier for multiple customers, I'll split the shipping cost fairly between those orders rather than charging each person the full amount.

Any additional supplier shipping costs will be discussed before you commit.

SPECIMEN AVAILABILITY

Not every specimen is available all year round! Some are seasonal, arrive in limited quantities or sell out incredibly quickly.

For example, Luna moths are only stocked by a couple of my suppliers around once a year, and they sell out so fast that I've missed out on getting one for my own collection two years in a row!

I'll always do my best to source the specimens you're after, but I cannot guarantee availability, restock dates or that a supplier will have stock when you're ready to order. Some specimens may require a long wait, and occasionally they may simply be unavailable.

Custom orders are subject to supplier availability. Paying a deposit doesn't guarantee that a supplier has the requested specimen in stock. If something becomes unavailable, I'll communicate with you about the options available.
